How well do you know the music of your favorite anime? Test your knowledge on songs from anime available on television, DVD, and Youtube. Prizes for the most knowledgeable.

12 p.m. Contest: Cosplay
Dress as your favorite anime or manga character. Prizes for the best costumes.

2:30 p.m. Drawing for door prizes.

Teen Anime Club

The Leesburg Public Library Teen Anime Club is open to all teens ages 12 to 18.

The club meets on the last Wednesday of each month from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.  Snacks are served.

The club previews anime DVDs from Funimation.

Search the library collection of Anime and Manga titles.

Author Visit: Caridad Ferrer

This spring break the Leesburg Public Library has the pleasure of hosting, Young Adult author, Caridad Ferrer. She will speak in the teen room, “The Amazing Space,” on April 2nd at 2:00 pm. Light refreshments will follow. Teens will have the opprotunity to ask questions of the author about her books and writing. She has written “Adios to My Old Life” and “It’s not About the Accent.” Read the books before you meet her! See the Flyer

Caridad (Barbara) is a first generation, bilingual, Cuban-American raised in Miami. She won the 2007 RITA for Best Contemporary Single Title Romance for Her second MTV Books novel, It’s Not About the Accent has just been released. Read the books in anticipation of her appearance at the Leesurg Public Library.
