Tantalize – book review

Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith.

I love novels on vampires and werewolves, so when I first heard about Tantalize I was extremely excited to get it into my hands and start reading. Without hopefully giving to much away, the book is about a adolescent girl falling in love with her werewolf/human friend. Along with dealing with life’s problems being thrown at her left and right, she meets and crushes on Sanquini’s new chef. Sanguini’s – A very rare restaurant, is the main setting.

The author drags you into the story and you fall in love with the character’s personalities. She gives you tons of details to satisfy the imagination. You crave what the character’s crave. It’s one of those books you never want to put down because you’re so enthralled in story’s fast-paced plot. It’s easy for your eyes to flow along with the text.

Terrible cliffhanger at the end though… But don’t all good books do that? She allows your imagination to conclude the ending. This is one book I would gladly read again.
