Banned Books Week

Next week September 27 – October 4, 2008 is Banned Books Week. The best way to celebrate your right to read would be to read a book. This is a great opprotunity for you and a parent or guardian to read the same book and discuss it. If you are interested here is a list of the most challenged books from the previous year.

1. “And Tango Makes Three,” by Justin Richardson/Peter Parnell

2. “The Chocolate War,” by Robert Cormier

If you have read any of these titles please share you opinion with us. Are you glad that you had the opprotunity to read it? Would you recommend it to others? Were you offended by any of the material it contained?
